5.0/10

My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. While the room was spacious and comfortable enough for two, the overall condition felt like a cheap motel which was frustrating given the price. The service left much to be desired, with long waits and poor communication. The location was peaceful, surrounded by nature, but a bit isolated. Dining was mediocre at best, with the food lacking quality. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a relaxing getaway.

6.0/10

Overall, my stay at the resort had its ups and downs. The facility itself is lovely with spacious rooms that have a comfortable bed perfect for a family. There are excellent amenities to enjoy, especially the spa and hiking trails. However, the service left much to be desired, especially during check-in and the dining experience could definitely use improvements in both quality and variety.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms are spacious with comfortable king size beds, but the second room we received had a musty scent that detracted from the experience.
Service
5.0
The service was weak, particularly in communication; check-in was confusing and staff seemed unhelpful when we needed support.
Location
7.0
The resort is nestled in a beautiful area, but being surrounded by local houses means there's a lack of nearby restaurants and services.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were reasonable but lacked quality, particularly for breakfast and afternoon tea which felt cheap and uninviting.
Facilities
8.0
The spa and hiking trails are fantastic, providing a great escape to nature and relaxation, but the restaurant cleanliness needs attention.

7.4/10

Our stay at this resort was a delightful experience, offering spacious and comfortable accommodations, paired with stunning views and excellent amenities. However, we encountered some issues with smoke odor in our room and limited dining options outside the hotel. The spa and hiking trails were highlights, providing a relaxing getaway amidst nature.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms in the main building were spacious and equipped with a comfortable king-size bed. However, we noticed a smoke odor upon arrival, which required the staff to bring an air purifier.
Service
7.0
The service was a bit mixed; while the staff reacted quickly to our concerns about the smoke smell, the check-in process was less than welcoming. Management could benefit from more consistent training.
Location
6.0
The resort is located a bit far from downtown Taipei, requiring some adventurous public transportation to reach it. There's limited access to restaurants and town amenities, so it’s very much a retreat atmosphere.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were somewhat limited, with the buffet showing some signs of wear, but we found the breakfast and the dinner at the Chinese restaurant to be satisfying.
Facilities
9.0
The facilities were impressive, with unlimited spa access and well-maintained hiking trails. They also include a fitness room and playground, making it family-friendly.

5.0/10

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend with friends, and while there were moments of enjoyment, overall it fell short of expectations. The check-in process was confusing and frustrating, and the room conditions did not match the price point. We had a good time in the hot springs and hiking trails, but the dining experience was not impressive. I wouldn’t consider this a good value for money, especially given the issues we encountered.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were disappointing, feeling more like a cheap motel than a spa hotel. They were in poor condition and had an unpleasant smell.
Service
5.0
The service at check-in was lacking as we were not informed about our room status and had to trek back and forth unnecessarily.
Location
6.0
The location is remote and peaceful, surrounded by nature, which I appreciated, but it can be a hassle to get to from the city.
Dining
5.0
Dining options left much to be desired; the food quality was low despite generous portion sizes.
Facilities
7.0
The hot springs and hiking trails were enjoyable, which added some value to the stay.

My stay at this resort was overall enjoyable, with stunning hot springs and plenty of hiking options, making it a great escape close to Taipei. However, there were some hiccups with service, particularly during check-in, and the room conditions left much to be desired. The hot springs and spa facilities were definitely the highlights of my visit, offering a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious but unfortunately had a lingering smoke smell which detracted from the comfort. It felt more like a budget motel rather than a resort.
Service
5.0
Service was somewhat weak, especially during check-in when there was no guidance and miscommunication about room readiness. It was frustrating having to return to the lobby for keycards.
Location
9.0
The location is wonderful, set in the mountains with easy access to hiking trails and natural beauty. It feels like a tranquil escape from the city.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were underwhelming, with low-quality food served in large portions. The afternoon tea was especially disappointing.
Facilities
8.0
The hot springs and spa facilities were a real treat, offering various pools for relaxation and stunning views.
